This post is really late, but the pictures are definitely worth putting on here. I think they turned out great. It was fun to do a wedding in California. I love how you can almost always count on good weather. Thanks for having me do your wedding pictures! (sorry if this is an all Heidi post, but I thought she was such a pretty bride and photographed so well, that I couldn't decide which pictures of her I liked the most)
They met at IN-N-OUT, where they both work. So this picture has special meaning.
John and Bridi got married at this beautiful rock chapel in Farmington. I loved taking pictures with all the texture and caracter of the chapel. It was fun taking pictures of such a sweet couple too! Thanks for having me do your wedding pictures!
I am a bit late at posting these, but I think they turned out beautifully and had to put them on anyway. Bridi looked great, and was so easy to photograph.
I really had no idea how neat it would be to visit Japan. The city itself is gigantic and has more to see than can be seen in one short week, but we tried (thanks to the best tour guide and hosts ever--my sister and her awesome family). Everything there is so artistic, the culture is so rich in tradition, the food is amazing (I am already having serious withdraws), everyone is so respectful, and you cannot believe the organization in that city.
Here is one of many hundreds of photos we took there. I will post a few more later. This was taken from Odaiba, an island overlooking Tokyo bay. I didn't want to crop the photo to make it larger, so click on it to see it much larger.
When Tristen came to visit me, I couldn't resist taking a few snapshots of him...they grow so fast! It is hard to believe that this chubby little boy is the same newborn I just took photos of.
Although I haven't put any new photos on here for a while, I am looking forward to taking (and posting) some fun ones throughout this year.
My husband and I get to go to Japan this spring and I am hoping to take some great photos there! I am also looking forward to a wedding, as well as some fun family photos, in June. But that is not all! I am excited to take lots of photos of our new little one in September (having a newborn to take photos of around all the time is so much fun).
Cindy, I realized that I never posted any of your pictures on my blog. So, even though you already have the prints, I don't want you to feel left out. Also, I love these photos and have to show them off a little.
This is my cute new nephew who almost made it on his due date--he was three hours over (really, who has their baby on their due date?). I loved taking pictures of little hands and feet! Especially when they are only a couple weeks old. I can't wait to take more.
I have always enjoyed taking photos, not just of people, but of all the beautiful details that surround us each day. However, until I got my first "nice" camera I did not know how much I really loved photography.
I have since upgraded from my first film SLR camera to a nice digital SLR, and have been clicking away ever since. Going digital has allowed me to do what I love...to take tons of photos of all the little details and moments that make life so sweet.
Capturing the moments, details, and personality is what I aim to do in each of my photo sessions.
