Sweet Kyler was a bit apprehensive at the beginning of our session...but after warming up we had a great time. The colors this week were gorgeous. Doesn't it look like this is a fake backdrop!
Such a fun family. Thanks for being open to my silly ideas. Adorable! I love love the added touch of a perfectly still flag in the window. The lighting this day was fabulous. I never had to change settings, and the raw pictures were awesome...and everyone was so comfortable in front of the camera. Thanks guys for making my job easy.
A long time ago I had my pictures featured on this product that is sold at Michael's throughout the country. I was pretty flattered, I mean, who doesn't want their photos to end up in a picture frame or on product boxes. So, I decided it was time to post these pictures. The pictures of the box are not very good, so I put the original pictures of Tiana and Andrew on here as well.
Here are just a few of my favorites from that session that I never posted. Monet, Andrew, & Tiana
It was so much fun taking pictures of my beautiful cousins. "The twins"
It was a perfect sunny October day in Denver! I loved the classic look of both the bride and groom. Four generations! I absolutely love this picture. These three beauties grew up together and all got married within months of each other, so we had to get a picture of all three in their wedding gowns together.
So, I realized that it has been a YEAR since I last posted anything. I can assure you I have not abandoned my beloved camera, and that I have taken a few pictures in the last year. Since I am not up for the task of posting everything from the last year, I think a few highlights should suffice. One of the more recent photo sessions --June-- was of super sweet, and amazingly easy to photograph, Jadyn just after her blessing day.
This is the same dress her mother wore when she was blessed
I have always enjoyed taking photos, not just of people, but of all the beautiful details that surround us each day. However, until I got my first "nice" camera I did not know how much I really loved photography.
I have since upgraded from my first film SLR camera to a nice digital SLR, and have been clicking away ever since. Going digital has allowed me to do what I love...to take tons of photos of all the little details and moments that make life so sweet.
Capturing the moments, details, and personality is what I aim to do in each of my photo sessions.
